The Salamander Controller Model S runs the System Server software and connects to multiple sensors such as temperature and humidity sensors, leak detectors, door open sensors but can also read data from SNMP devices like Smart PDUs.When properly configured, the controller process the data and compares with settings to trigger alerts which can result in emails or text messages.
The Salamander Controller Model S is ready to work as a stand-alone appliance configured as “Master” but can also be integrated as “Slave” in a wider network with a centralised Salamander server. The Salamander server is able to collect information from hundreds of Salamander controllers and Salamander Satellite controllers.The controller can connect directly with up to 6 temperature, 1 humidity and up to 2 dry contact sensors like leak or door open detectors.
Several IoT Satelites can be included in the solution to gather additional data and take actions. The IoT Satelites implement a wireless network to send and receive information from the Master Controller.
